Astadjam brings over 4 years of experience in the fields of communication, project and event management in international organizations and non-governmental organizations.
Before joining Quadia, Astadjam has worked as a coordinator at the International Telecommunications Union where she supported the organization and operations of the Mobile Learning Week in Paris and the International Girls in ICT Day in Geneva, which entailed working in close collaboration with governments, the private sector, and civil society. In previous assignments, Astadjam has worked with Ashoka, the largest network of social enterprises, to expand their activities in Switzerland and was in charge of communication, partnership relation and event organization.
Astadjam has developed her sense of social entrepreneurship through the creation of a Chad-based NGO promoting literacy and the management of a 10-year program set up by the Chadian Embassy in Switzerland to promote activities of women cooperatives in Chad. This work lead to her selection in 2014, among 15’000 applications, as the Swiss Representative at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and Education First Summer school.
Astadjam holds an Interdisciplinary Masters in Child Rights (M.A) and a Bachelor degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Geneva and speaks five languages.
