Kostis A. Tselenis

Kostis has more than a decade of focused experience with Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Project Finance. He has worked with private and institutional investors, such as the COFRA Group / Good Energies (now known as Bregal Energy), a leading global private investor in Real Estate and Renewable Energy.
He accompanied Good Energies throughout its build-up and expansion phase, focusing on investment management, dealflow, target evaluation and portfolio-related transactions. Kostis was involved in key investment and portfolio coaching processes of leading global renewable energy players and has prepared and coordinated the IPO listing of two of the world’s largest solar manufacturers. Before shifting his focus to direct investments and fund management, Kostis worked in the Investment Banking division of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie (today Lombard Odier), one of the oldest and largest Private Banks in Switzerland, concentrating in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Debt Advisory services for mid caps in the DACH region.
In his early a carreer days, Kostis worked on several marketing and business development mandates with impact Zurich, a junior strategy consulting company, and has served as a professor assistant to Prof. Dr. Margit Osterloh at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Zurich.
Kostis is a network partner of sun-connect, a group of experts promoting solar energy access solutions globally, as well as a supervisory board member of SunTransfer GmbH in Freiburg, a first mover in solar energy access systems in the developing world. He is Chief Editor for the Impact Investing Special of Market Magazine, he has been invited as a speaker and panelist in global investment and sustainability events and conferences and has published several articles in digital and print trade media.
His professional ethics and values have been shaped by his early involvement in the family business, a company active in the B2B and B2C sustainable consumer products segment. He got his Masters degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Zurich, is Swiss and Greek, and lives in Zurich and Geneva since 1995.
