Senior Impact Advisor
Sophie is the founder of The Impact Evaluation Factory, an innovative consultancy which accompanies organizations in designing their own impact strategy in an easy and affordable manner.
Sophie started her career in the nonprofit world, working as an Advocacy Officer for World Vision in Paris. In 2010, she assisted Quadia in the development of an innovative investment solution looking to tackle the HIV/AIDS burden in Africa. She then was part of the investment team at IGNIA, a pioneering impact investing fund in Mexico, where she conducted market analysis for potential portfolio companies in numerous sectors in the context of the base of the pyramid market in Mexico.
After that, Sophie worked for Quadia for 7 years, as an Impact Specialist first, before becoming Head of Impact Evaluation. She notably overlooked Quadia’s whole portfolio impact strategy, and coordinated the publishing of Quadia’s Impact Reports, amongst other missions.
In 2017, Sophie co-founded Next Generation Finance, a unique sustainable finance organization seeking to engage the Millennial generation.
Frequently, Sophie advises young ventures and smaller nonprofits on their impact evaluation strategy (Includeed, Be You Network, Bayes Impact, BeTheWave…). She also volunteers in several impactful organizations (Wedu, SAHR).
She has a master’s degree in International Public Management from the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po. She lived in Australia, Mexico, China, France, Switzerland and she is now based in San Francisco, USA. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
